Valentina Baratta

Valentina Baratta graduated in Oriental Languages and Civilizations at "La Sapienza" University of Rome and, she specialized in the study of Arabic culture and language.
For the drafting of his thesis "Analysis of the language adaptation process of Sicilian Arabisms that spread during the Islamic conquest of the Mediterranean" she subjected a survey to 1000 Sicilian speakers, in order to conduct a linguistic analysis on the diffusion and active and passive use of these medieval arabisms, nowadays in Sicily. She is currently a grad student in the Master's Degree in Investigation, Crime and International Security at Università degli Studi Internazionali di Roma – UNINT.
Her interests are focused on online strategic communication.
Since 2016 she is a Content Writer and freelance contributor.
